Calm your body.
Direct your mind.
Parent with a plan.
Resilient moms raise resilient kids
Most parenting advice tells you what to do. Very little of it tells you how to be the mother who can do it when your child is having a hard time and you are too.
That's the piece I teach first, because a plan for your parenting only works as well as the mother running it.
Staying steady is a skill, not a personality you were either born with or born without. It can be learned, at any age, in any season, no matter how hard today has already been.
Without that piece, you keep learning strategies you can't reach when you need them. With it, the strategies start working, because you're steady enough to use them.
Two steps, and the order matters. Here's what I teach.
What I teach
Two steps
A plan for your parenting only works as well as the mother running it. That's why we start with you.
Step one
Calm your body and direct your mind
How to recognize your body's stress response and calm it, how to change the thinking that keeps you stuck, and how to quiet the critic in your head. This is the work that helps you feel like yourself again, whether or not you have children. I teach it in Calm and Confident, twelve weeks of resilient nervous system training.
The first cohort opens soon.
Step two
A plan for your parenting
What your child can handle at the age she is, what your actual job is at each stage, what you're teaching her, how the two of you solve problems together, and where you're headed as a family. This is the work that replaces guessing. I teach it in the Resilient Mom Membership, with a live call every week and a new workshop every month.
The membership opens soon.
One thing at a time
Workshops and courses
Workshops give you enough education on one topic that you can become your own child specialist in that area. There's teaching, context, and a workbook to help you use it in your own house, all in about an hour. Courses go deeper where a topic needs more time.

I'm Leigh.
I help mothers who don't feel like themselves anymore become calm and confident again, and then I give them a plan for their parenting so they can raise resilient kids.
I've been a therapist for more than thirty years, and I'm a mom of five. What I teach isn't a collection of tips I gathered. It's the Resiliency System, a methodology I built over those thirty years, and it starts with you rather than with your child.
From mothers I've worked with
"I feel like I found Leigh's podcast at a crucial time in my life. I'm 5 months postpartum with my second baby and everything just felt so overwhelming. It's the thing I look forward to everyday."
Kristen
"Leigh clearly explains the physiological side of parenting struggles and balances it with approachable tips to apply to everyday life."
Natalie
"Her approach has been both insightful and compassionate, helping me navigate through situations with clarity and reassurance. She has equipped me with practical tools to trust my intuition and find direction in my life. Leigh's kindness and gentle suggestions have made it easy to explore changes without feeling judged or unheard."
